Ten Benefits of Nettle Tea

Updated: Jul 16, 2019

Who would of thought the stinging nettles we see growing all over UK could have so many helpful qualities. If you do choose to buy this tea, I would advise you to buy an organic brand and check that the ingredients only contains nettle leaf.

You can brew stinging nettle leaves in almost boiling water and then leave it to stand for a minimum of 10 minuets. For the best results, drink at least 3 cups daily. Just be sure to check with your doctor first to ensure this does not interfere with your existing medications.

Benefits:

  • Helps with allergy and asthma sufferers

  • Helps to boost immune system

  • Reduces inflammations

  • Helps with milk production in lactating women

  • Helps with menstrual cramps and bloating

  • Helps with menopause symptoms

  • Supports the endocrine health by helping the thyroid, spleen and pancreas

  • Great for gut and digestive problems

  • Helps with Hypertension
