Acupuncture

Updated: Jul 16, 2019

Traditional acupuncture stems from Chinese medicine and it is a tried and tested system, which has been practiced throughout china and the Far East for thousands of years. Acupuncture is known as a complementary therapy where fine needles are inserted into the skin along the meridian (energy) lines to help alleviate physical and medical conditions.

Does it hurt?

Well everybody is different I guess but for me personally I would say I don’t even feel 80% of the needles going in. You may get the odd one, which hurts or feels uncomfortable but if you let the practitioner know they will move it for you.
